Theresa Shearer, Executive Director Of Corporate & Strategic Planning
Theresa Shearer was appointed Executive Director of Corporate & Strategic Planning in February 2010 following a two year period working as a Management Consultant with ENABLE Scotland on our Personalisation and Individual Budgets Strategy.
Theresa has been key in establishing links with Scottish Government which provide opportunities for people with learning disabilities to become actively involved in shaping the Personalisation agenda.
Theresa received a BA Hons in Human Resource Management in 1990 and in 2004 became the first woman in Scotland to complete a Dip IoD in Corporate Direction. She lives with her husband and three young children in Bothwell, Lanarkshire.
