‘Mission To Lars’ documentary has it's Scottish cinema release this month
Mission to Lars teamENABLE Scotland will be taking part in an incredible fundraising opportunity feautring all things Metallica!

‘Mission To Lars’ is an uplifting documentary feature film about Tom Spicer, who has a learning disability. With his siblings help, Tom sets off on a transatlantic quest to find his much obsessed over hero, Lars Ulrich of Metallica.

Tom has Fragile X Syndrome. All he's ever wanted is to meet Lars. After 20 years and 10,000 times of asking his journalist sister, Kate, when he was going to meet Lars, she finally cracked. This is a film that looks beyond disability, and uncovers the soul of a very cool guy.

Mission to Lars will be shown in Glasgow on 14 June at 5.00pm. After the screening there will be a panel discussion with the directors.

The film has three goals: entertainment, awareness raising and fund raising. The film has a charity status and a percentage of ticket sales of the screening in Glasgow will go to ENABLE Scotland.
