Cross Party Group for learning disability
The Cross Party Group for Learning Disability meets regularly at the Scottish Parliament to ensure that the needs and aspirations of people with learning disabilities are considered by the Scottish Parliament and by public policy makers.
Cross-Party Groups provide an opportunity for Members of all parties, outside organisations and members of the public to meet and discuss a shared interest in a particular cause or subject.
Recent issues discussed by the Cross Party Group include:

· National eligibility criteria
· The Carers and Young Carers Strategy for Scotland
· Charges for community care services
