Producing information about your campaign
Having information about your campaign available can be a good way of telling lots of people about your campaign. You can also use this as an opportunity to and let more people know how to get involved. There are a number of ways of doing this:
- Produce posters, but make sure they are brief and to the point but also tell the reader some basic information about the campaign. Include a contact address or details of events that people can come along to. Make sure you use pictures and colours to tell a story and attract people’s attention. When you print your posters think about who you are aiming to attract and where these people are most likely to see them. Avoid wasting money on printing posters you won’t use.
- Leaflets give you the opportunity to provide more information on a campaign. Give the reader enough information about the campaign but keep your leaflets short and easy to read. It is good to include photographs to help people understand the problem. Be clear who is running the campaign and include contact details.
