How to get involved

ENABLE Scotland needs your help to campaign on behalf of people who have learning disabilities.  There are a number of ways you can get involved in ENABLE Scotland’s campaigning work:

Become a member of ENABLE Scotland

ENABLE Scotland was founded as a membership organisation by the parents of children who have learning disabilities.

Today our members help to shape our campaigning agenda and support our campaigns at both a local and national level.  As a member of ENABLE Scotland you will receive information about events and campaigns along with a copy of our regular magazine, Newslink.  And it’s free!

Join online today by contacting ENABLE Direct.

Join your local branch

ENABLE Scotland has 55 local branches across Scotland who campaign on local matters and support our national campaigns.  They play a vital role in offering advice and support to people who have learning disabilities and their families.

Keep up to date with our campaigns online and support us when you can

ENABLE Scotland’s blog is a good source of up to date news on ENABLE Scotland’s campaigns work.  Often we’ll post links to relevant news stories, upload opinion pieces and promote our campaigning agenda.  The blog is updated on a regular basis by our team and you can even leave us a comment.  Click here to check it out for yourself.

We also regularly update our social networking sites with the latest news on learning disability in Scotland.  If you are signed up to either Facebook or Twitter, join us today at the following addresses:
