​Monday 20th June - Disability Hate Crime
Today we are highlighting the issue of Disability Hate Crime. We have been working with partner organisations including our sister charity Mencap looking into Disability Hate Crime in our society as this is a problem which impacts the lives of our members. We want to know if the Police and the legal system overall are doing enough to stamp out Disability Hate Crime. Should the punishment be greater for this type of crime?
