Making changes
When you want to change something it can help to work with other people who want the same thing.
Other people can have good ideas and give you confidence.
When lots of people are asking for the same thing it is harder for them to be ignored. This is sometimes called a campaign.
Before you start a campaign you need to be clear about what you want to change.
After this you can:
Think about who can help you
Contact people like politicians and councillors
Speak to the media (newspapers and television)
Start a petition – this is when you ask lots of people to sign their name and say that they agree with you.
