ENABLE Scotland works with families living with learning disabilities throughout Scotland. We support parents with children who have learning disabilities from birth all the way through to adulthood. We also provide parents who have learning disabilities with support.
Whether you need to find a service or branch in your local area or just need some advice we can help. Email ENABLE Direct or call them on 0300 0200 101. You can also check out our resources for families.
Our parents and carers committee is run by the parents of people who have learning disabilities. This is a forum to discuss key issues and set the agenda for some of ENABLE Scotland’s Campaigns.
Many parents, carers and family members find it useful to meet with other families. This allows them to share ideas and talk about the things that matter to them. ENABLE Scotland was established by the parents of people who have learning disabilities because they wanted to have a voice. Over the years families have helped to make changes that have improved the lives of people who have learning disabilities, they continue to do so today and you can be part of it.
