Make The Move

Leaving school and moving on to further education or employment can be a very exciting time. Deciding what type of work you would like to get involved in, or what skills you want to develop can shape your future.

ENABLE Scotland recognises that this is a key time in a young person's life and we understand that it can be helpful to have employment professionals to talk to about your options. This is why we created Make The Move a new website dedicated to young people.

Make The Move from ENABLE Scotland is a website about employment for young people who have a learning disability. The website is focused on young people at any stage of their work lives, from thinking about a job through to career progression.

Featuring a range of case studies from young people, answers to their most common questions, job ideas and interviews with employers, the site aims to promote a positive image about employment for young people who have a learning disability.
