You can tell from his smile that Ben is a delightful wee chap, full of beans and curious about life. This year Ben will be having a very Merry Christmas.
Sadly, statistics show that other children who have learning disabilities across Scotland won't be as lucky.
These children will grow up lonely.  They'll probably be bullied and isolated because of their disabilities. There’s a fair chance that they will be a victim of hate crime, and that they will be physically attacked because they have a learning disability. The dignity and independence of work will probably be out of their reach.
It is not Ben's learning disability that holds him back. Help us build a better future
for children who have learning disabilities this Christmas.
