Amor Group chose ENABLE Scotland as their nominated charity for 2010 and raised nearly £5,000 during the year by participating in a range of fundraising activities.
Amor staff volunteers assisted in the renovation of a garden for ENABLE Scotland’s PALS project in Old Kilpatrick, which provides children with learning disabilities with a place to meet and socialise after school, and helped to plant trees in the local woodland near to another ENABLE Scotland project at Woodhall in Edinburgh.
John Innes, Amor Group’s Chief Executive Officer, said: “We are delighted to be able to offer our support to ENABLE Scotland. Our partnership with Enable is about much more than just donating money; we have actively participated in volunteering activities as well as fundraising through running events and even abseils. We encourage all our staff to take an active role in volunteering and fundraising with ENABLE Scotland." |
