Welcome to our job section. If you have clicked on this section, you must be curious about what it is like to work for ENABLE Scotland.

The work of every staff member in the organisation, whether it is direct support work or in an office, contributes to our aim of helping people with learning disabilities to lead full and active lives. Our staff support and development processes – including supervision sessions, team meetings and annual appraisals – focus on this aim while making sure that you can take advantage of our training and development opportunities. We recognise that staff learn in different ways and are striving to offer different ways of developing your skills – including training courses, on-the-job learning, mentoring and team development days. Support is also available to undertake formal qualifications through our established SVQ programme.

We want to ensure that the quality of what we do is as high as it can be and we want our staff to be proud of what they achieve. We ask staff to influence what ENABLE Scotland does by feeding suggestions to managers and our Quality Improvement Team and by commenting through team meetings on our strategic plan.

Please take a minute to read our beliefs and values statement and the benefits of working with ENABLE Scotland. You may find that these fit with your idea of what a rewarding career can be.
