ACE

ACE stands for the Advisory Committee of ENABLE.

There are 22 local ACE groups across Scotland and a National ACE group which is made of two representatives from each local group.

ACE groups are made up of adults who have learning disabilities.

Each ACE group has a Co-ordinator who helps to run the meetings.

The Co-ordinator helps people to speak up and makes sure everyone is included.

The groups are a chance for people who have learning disabilities to have their say about what matters to them.
ACE groups tell ENABLE Scotland what matters to people who have learning disabilities.

ACE groups help ENABLE Scotland to give the best support to people who pay for their services.

ACE has advised the Scottish Government and local councils, the police and the NHS as well as lots of other organisations.

The ACE groups are also really friendly and enjoyable and a good place to make friends!
