Event for carers in Ayrshire

Leading learning disability charity ENABLE Scotland is holding an event on 18 June from 9.30am - 3,30pm at Sutherland House, Prestwick Road, Ayr to provide carers with information on respite care including its Short Breaks Fund – which could provide families in Ayrshire with a grant of up to £300 to access flexible respite care/short breaks.

The event will appeal to unpaid carers supporting someone who has a learning disability and is interested in finding out more about flexible options for respite care.

ENABLE Scotland staff will be on hand to provide advice about how to apply for a grant, which has been awarded by The Scottish Government through Shared Care Scotland.
