Howard Elliott – Director of ENABLE All
Howard Elliott is Director of ENABLE All, which provides high quality, human-rights focused self-directed care and support to more than 1,100 adults and children. His team includes 1,800 front-line staff, who operate across 27 local authority areas, from South Ayrshire to Orkney and East Lothian to Argyll & Bute.
Howard’s career in health and social care spans a total of 30 years, following graduation from the University of Strathclyde with a BA (Hons) in Business Administration and completion of a post-graduate Diploma in Health and Social Welfare. Howard initially worked within the NHS in Public Health, before choosing to develop his career in community-based social care. Howard gained experience of frontline service delivery at Key Housing, before quickly moving into frontline, then senior management roles within Care UK, where he had 10 years’ experience as Regional Manager/Director, working across Scotland. Howard then moved on to a Regional Director role at Cornerstone and a Head of Service role at Community Integrated Care, before joining the ENABLE Group in 2019.
Howard’s focus is on building on the success of ENABLE All’s PA Model of social care and further embedding the organisation’s values-driven and human rights-based approach. He is committed to delivering the highest quality of service to the people we support, ensuring continuous improvement of service delivery, innovation and excellence.
