ACE stands for an Active Community of Empowered people. This community is a unique network of 28 groups for adults who have a learning disability throughout Scotland.
Our ACE Groups are part-funded by a two-year grant from the Scottish Government’s Adult Learning and Empowerment Community (ALEC) Fund – a funding programme that is managed by the Corra Foundation.
By coming together each month, ACE Group members campaign to improve the lives of people who have a learning disability in Scotland.
Members talk about issues that matter to them and the barriers they face in their day-to-day lives. Together, with support from our campaigns and policy team, they create and drive solutions to these challenges.
