Sending in your money
Gift Aid is a government scheme that allows UK charities to claim back the basic rate tax already paid on donations by the donor. So, for every £1 you raise, we receive an extra 25p from the government, boosting the value of your donation by a quarter.
So, if you are taking part in a sponsored event or asking people to make donations at your fundraising event, please ask your supporters who work and pay tax in the UK to tick the ‘Gift Aid’ box on the sponsorship form and fill in their full address details.
Sending Money In
We encourage all of our supporters to set up a fundraising page. Fundraising pages are a quick and easy way to collect donations from your supporters, publicise your fundraising efforts and stay in touch with people who have already donated. The money raised through a fundraising page will come straight to us, so you don’t need to process or handle any donations.
