About The Role

Glasgow

Full time contract available; 38 hours per week

Day shift pattern

Are you interested in working for an award winning social care charity?

Personal Assistants (Support Workers) have the most important role within Enable by making a positive difference every day to the lives of the people we support. No two days are the same for our Personal Assistants but what we can guarantee is that you will be supporting someone who requires support to achieve their goals and outcomes – whatever they may be!

The Best in You Brings Out the Best in Me

The people we support have many varied interests and hobbies and have many of the same dreams and aspirations as we do; they just too often do not get the opportunity to experience these same opportunities. A career with Enable is as rewarding as it is diverse, Personal Assistants at their best have the potential to truly bring out the best in the people we support.

Our Campus Project is looking for a compassionate, motivated individual to join our experienced staff team and support young people who have fled persecution in their home countries and are seeking asylum in the UK.

The young people we work with have often experienced significant trauma, including bereavement, family separation, torture, exploitation, trafficking, and dangerous journeys in search of safety. As they begin to rebuild their lives, they need support, stability, and opportunities to develop confidence and independence.

Our aim is simple but important: regardless of what the future holds, every young person who leaves our service should feel that they have been safe, valued, respected, and cared for. We work alongside residents to build confidence, develop practical life skills, and strengthen their connection to the local community.

This is an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young people at a crucial stage in their journey, while developing your own skills, knowledge, and experience within a rewarding and supportive environment

About You

If you share our commitment to ensuring every young person feels safe, valued, and supported, and have the dedication, compassion, and enthusiasm to help them make the most of every opportunity, we encourage you to apply today.

Enable needs you and your values to help us create an equal society for every person we support.

You don’t need experience in care to start your social care career with Enable. We recruit people based on their values and transferrable skills. Wherever your journey has taken you up until now, join us, and together we will forge a new path in what could potentially be the most rewarding role you have ever had!
