Personal Assistants (Support Workers) have the most important role within Enable by making a positive difference every day to the lives of the people we support. Each person we support has different support requirements, so your role as Support Worker may include assisting them with various aspects of personal care, moving and handling or positive behavioural support whilst expanding their social networks and connections.

Are you sporty and active? Do you have a fun, friendly and empathetic character?  Are you interested in supporting Stephen and making a real difference in his life?

Stephen is a young man who leaves school this summer and is looking for support to lead an active life. Stephen loves all things sporty, including basketball, tennis, swimming, cycling, athletics and walking. Stephen is at his happiest being active and outdoors and is looking for people who can match his energy and interests.

Stephen is non-verbal but he loves interacting with people and has the most wicked sense of humour. Stephen is also a young man who is very close to his family and part of the role will include updating Stephen’s parents on how he has been whilst being supported.
