Enable Works Expands Award-Winning ‘All In’ Model to the Highlands

All In Highlands Partnership
Almost 500 people with disabilities, health conditions, and employment barriers based in the Highlands will benefit from a major new programme designed to help them secure meaningful jobs.

Almost 500 people with disabilities, health conditions, and employment barriers based in the Highlands will benefit from a major new programme designed to help them secure meaningful jobs.

Enable Works, the largest specialist provider of employability services in Scotland, together with partners, is bringing its award-winning All In model to the region in January 2026.

Working on behalf of Work Life Highland, the partnership will ensure there is a joined up approach across the employability landscape, to make services and support easier to access for all residents.

Established in 2015 and already running in Edinburgh, Glasgow, Dundee, Aberdeenshire and Moray, the All In programme delivers real results for people across the country with outcomes including 42% moving into employment and 76% still in work after 12 months. The model harnesses the strength of the third sector by bringing together 31 delivery partners across Scotland that understand and respond flexibly to local employment challenges.

Funded by Highland Employability Partnership, delivered by Enable Works (Lead Partner), Barnardo’s Works, Calman Trust, Lochaber Hope, Merkinch Partnership, New Start Highland, Pulteneytown People’s Project and Street League, the programme aims to help almost 500 people move into rewarding and lasting jobs.

The All In model demonstrates the tangible benefits of organisations working together, supporting people into work at twice the rate of other employability programmes and, crucially, results show that most people who move into work remain in work.

Support will be offered in accessible venues in local communities, making it easier for people, including those in remote and rural areas, to get the help they need close to home.

The new All In Highlands partnership will offer a wide range of support, including specialist services for people with disabilities or long-term health conditions, dedicated and flexible support for parents, and sector-based academies which provide training in retail, logistics and hospitality skills.

Ashley Ryan, Director of Enable Works, said: “All In Highlands represents the next step in our commitment to ensuring every person in Scotland has the opportunity to access meaningful work, no matter where they live. Together, we will support people not only to move into work, but to build secure and lasting careers. By working side-by-side with trusted local partners, we can bring together world-class employability practice with deep community insight to create real, measurable change for people across the Highlands.”
