We are proud to welcome Dr I. Stephanie Boyce CBE FKC as an Advisor to Enable.
Dr Boyce is the former President of The Law Society of England and Wales and is widely recognised as a trailblazing solicitor and a leading advocate for diversity and inclusion. Her appointment will support Enable in continuing to build strong, inclusive leadership across our organisation and teams, ensuring our values remain central to how we operate and grow.
Her insight and experience will be invaluable as we continue to develop a culture that empowers people and strengthens leadership at every level.
We are pleased to announce that Angie Wood, Co-Director of Mental Health, Social Care and the National Care Service at the Scottish Government, has been co-opted as Chair of Enable’s Clinical Safeguarding Committee.
Angie brings extensive experience from across the NHS, Health and Social Care Partnerships, and local and national government. Her broad perspective and deep expertise will support this critical pillar of our governance framework, driving excellence in safeguarding, care quality, and health and safety practice across Enable.
We are delighted to welcome Joanne Brown to the Enable Board of Trustees.
Joanne is a Public Sector Partner at Grant Thornton UK LLP, with more than 20 years’ experience working with public sector organisations across Scotland and England. She previously served as Chair of the Scottish CIPFA Branch and joins the Board following her co-option to Enable’s Audit & Risk Committee in June last year.
Joanne’s financial and governance expertise will play a key role in supporting Enable’s financial resilience and strategic oversight.
We are also pleased to welcome back Andrew Coull, who rejoins the Enable Board after a seven-year break.
Andrew is a highly experienced corporate finance specialist with significant non-executive experience across listed companies, private businesses, and charities. His return brings valuable continuity alongside fresh perspective, further strengthening our governance and strategic development.
As we look ahead to the year to come, we are confident that their contributions will help us continue to grow, strengthen our governance, and deliver positive, lasting impact.
