Katie McVey is the Chief Operating Officer at Enable and is principally responsible for delivering the strategy, innovation and resourcing priorities across the charity’s operating pillars; Enable Cares, Enable Works and Enable Communities.
Katie joined Enable in 2012, and has been pivotal in growing the organisation’s revenues from £30m to £100m in recent years, becoming one of the country’s largest employers with a valued workforce of 3,500 people and serving over 14,000 people to live, work and participate as active citizens within the communities of their choice.
Katie holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Strathclyde University, having been supported by Enable to access the qualification through part-time study. She has a specialist interest in strategic development and productivity of business functions designed to serve a social purpose.
