The ENABLE Scotland Board
ENABLE Scotland has an elected Board of Trustees. They are responsible for the charity’s governance and strategy, and for making sure that the charity is administered effectively.
Paul Jukes – Chair & Trustee
Paul Jukes joined Motherwell District Council as an assistant director of leisure services in 1987. In 1999, he was appointed director of community services, a post he held until internal re-organisation in 2007 created environmental services.
In 2015, he was appointed chief executive of North Lanarkshire Council until 2018, when Paul retired from his post.
In April 2021, Paul took over as Chair of the ENABLE Scotland board from the outgoing Bob Cowie.
Paul is now a Consultant to the Managing Director and Account Director at AMEY on strategic opportunities, Government & Public Sector.
