    I joined the ENABLE family in 2016 as Recruitment Manager and my journey so far has been exciting and ever-changing, starting from a recruitment team of two to an internal agency consisting of nine team members. As Senior Recruitment Business Partner, I lead the ENABLE Recruits team and manage all Central Services recruitment. I love what I do and knowing that my team make a vital contribution to ENABLE Scotland’s success and making a difference to the lives of the People we Support by employing the best people who demonstrate our core values.

    I have almost 5 years experience working within recruitment and just over a year of that has been with ENABLE Scotland. Joining in March 2018, I quickly developed good relationships with my colleagues and local services teams and have built a good understanding of what their needs are to support them to recruit excellent staff who will make a positive impact on the lives of people we support.

    Building good relationships is really important to me and I always strive to make sure both candidates and local hiring managers are happy with the recruitment journey.

    I’ve worked for ENABLE Scotland since 2010.  I started as a Support Co-ordinator in our Lanarkshire services before moving onto Learning and Development.  I joined the recruitment team in 2017.  Prior to joining ENABLE Scotland I worked for a recruitment agency for 3 years.  I love my job as I enjoy talking to and meeting different people everyday and, although I don’t directly support people, I know that what I do contributes to making a difference in the lives of the people we support.

    I’ve been working for ENABLE Scotland since April 2018. I have always been interested in recruitment and my role as recruitment co-ordinator allows me to assist with the recruitment of new staff in line with our recruitment and selection processes and actively contribute to the success of the organisation.

    I joined ENABLE Scotland in 2018. I specialise in recruiting for Personal Assistants for the people we support, who are of all ages from young children up to older adults whether they are require support from their family home or live independently in their own home. It is one of the most rewarding jobs you can have. I love my job working for one of the best charities in its field and with over 10 years of recruitment experience I have never been happier in what I do.

    I joined ENABLE Scotland in 2019. With 18+ years working in recruitment I enjoy supporting people looking to come on board with the team at ENABLE Scotland. I feel that recruitment should be individualised to the applicant and that each applicant is on a journey. It is important that we spend time getting to know our applicants to fully understand their needs and how best we can support them into employment.

    I’ve worked for ENABLE Scotland since September 2018. I started as a Recruitment Assistant but I have now moved into a Recruitment Co-Ordinator role. Prior to joining Enable Scotland I was living in New Zealand for a year and half where I spent 6 months travelling before I decided to find a job. Whilst I was living in New Zealand I worked in Recruitment and HR Roles. I enjoy my job as the staff at Enable are friendly and welcoming, I also know that what we do contributes to making a difference In the lives of the people we support.

    I joined the ENABLE Scotland family in March 2019 and very much feel part of a the team. Prior to joining I have held various roles within the health and social care sector, starting my career as a Care Assistant over 15 years ago. The best part of my job is meeting people and being able to offer them a rewarding role with a rewarding company in ENABLE Scotland. I very much believe that person centred care should begin with bespoke recruitment and this is something that ENABLE and myself are committed to providing for every person that we support.

    I have now worked with ENABLE Scotland for 1 year (and it’s been a quick year) having first come in on a temporary contract working in HR Admin.

    After three months I moved across to Enable Recruits taking on the role of Candidate Manager – no 2 days are the same and I get to tour central Scotland as I could be assisting in Edinburgh, Stirling or Eurocentral.

    I really enjoy my role, the fast pace, meeting new people and especially rewarding when you bring a candidate through from application to their 1st day in training. Since day one I have felt part of the ENABLE Scotland team and very welcomed.
