Danny - social care and beyond

If you had told Danny when he joined Enable as a personal assistant (PA) that he would one day work in the change team and be heading towards a degree in business management, he would never have believed it.

The support I’ve received over the years to progress and develop my career is amazing. My first manager took a risk, and believed in me when I was completely lost and looking for a new career direction after leaving my trade. She saw the values in me that would work in social care, even though at that time I had no experience in it. Then I get the opportunity to work on the team developing a new rota management system for the organisation. From there, I find myself being mentored by the change team to help me grow and develop the skills to work in the wonderful world of project management.

Even our CEO finds the time to answer my twitter messages when I’m in a panic about what to write in an essay! The culture of support in Enable doesn’t end on the frontline. We are supported to be the best we can be.
